Story [8/10]

ES1

You play as Senia, the main character of the story. Senia is inside the Tower of Eternity to search for her sister. There are other dungeons in the story where each of those dungeons has their own bosses before moving on to the other dungeon. There are a total of 3 dungeons. So, there’s 3 bosses that needs to be defeated. The game has 3 different kinds of endings. It’s up to you to figure it out on how to see the 3 different kinds of endings because I don’t want to spoil the story to you guys.

Gameplay [9/10]

Eternal Senia is an ARPG game with the classic style of graphics from the old time. It’s an RPG, so that means there’s always the task of levelling up your character in order to defeat the monsters as you make progress. Though, I’ll say is it’s quite easy to level up in this game and you can pretty much finish the game in 3-5 hours. There’s a crafting system where you’ll be able to create or upgrade to a more powerful item to defeat the monsters, i.e. sword. There’s 4 different kinds of skills. These skills will be unlocked in a certain part of the game. Each of the skills has their own strength and uses. There’s also chests in the game to search for. These chests gives the player certain items that are useful in upgrading your stats.

Arts and Sounds [9/10]

The character design of the characters are influenced on an anime art style. So, you can think of this game as an Anime themed game. Though, it’s a classic style of art, there’s some monsters who are well detailed. Most of the detailed design of the characters are the bosses.

The game doesn’t have voices for the characters, which I think is good in a way. It’s read and play at the same time. So, you’re the one who’ll think up a voice for the characters, which is I think, pretty good for your imagination. The soundtracks of the game were really awesome. The soundtrack that I loved the most is the one from the start menu. It’s a mix of soothing music combined with an awesome beat.

Overall [9/10]

Overall, this game is good if you’re looking to play a quick game. I say it will take about 3-5 hours to finish this game. If you’re really into it. Well, if you’re looking for all the chests and collectibles in the game, that would really take quite a time to be collected. I enjoyed playing this game and I would recommend it to others who loves classic RPG games.

All Fixed Up

Good news! My laptop got repaired and it’s now ok. Seems like the video card was the problem and it costed Php 1000 ($21) for it to be repaired. Now, I’m thinking of doing a marathon to some anime that I stopped watching for a while.

Current anime watching:

I was planning to do some gaming and hoped that the fps would be a lot higher than before. It kinda got higher than before, but not that much. I can run League of Legends with a stable fps of 30-50. I get dropped frame rates because of the crappy internet connection. This laptop is really old. So, it’s not really that suitable for gaming, but I can manage to play some games somehow. Low resolution gaming all the way!
