AnoHana gets a Live Action TV drama adaptation

A live action drama of the popular “feels” anime, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
AnoHana is known to have the same feels factor of Angel Beats and Clannad. The storyline is really emotional that makes you either feel sad or you either cry.

AnoHana follows the story of Jinta Yadomi and his group of childhood friends that have become estranged after a tragic accident that splitted them apart. Now in their high school years, a sudden surprise forces each of them to confront their guilt over what happened that day and come to terms with the ghosts of their past.

When I first saw the cast for the live action of AnoHana they all looked pretty good actors to me. Here are the casts of the Live Action TV Drama adaptation of AnoHana:

  • Murakami Nijirou as Jintan
  • Hamabe Minami as Menma
  • Shison Jun as Yukiatsu
  • Matsui Airi as Anaru
  • Iitoyo Marie as Tsuruko
  • Takahata Yuuta as Poppo

The storyline of the anime of AnoHana is great and really touching. I hope that the storyline of this live action will be also as good as the anime. The anime has only 11 episode but those episodes are enough for a great story and an emotional story. I think I have red that this live action is two hours long, I’m not sure if that’s true but let’s see if this live action will capture the same feel factor like in the anime series of Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.

  1. Genuinely unsure if the live cast will be able to CRT as much as the original cast tbh. I actually they’re gonna have to direct it quite differently to bring across all the emotion in live action. Quite excited for what they’ll do with this though! I just hope it comes close to the anime 🙂
